The first meeting of the 2015-2016 Colloquium Committee will take place on Monday, September 28 at 3:45 PM in LB-651.
This meeting is open to all SAGE members interested in organizing the 14th Annual Concordia English Graduate Colloquium. The bigger the Committee is, the easier a job it is, so please come out if you’re interested.
Some members of last year’s Colloquium Committee will be present to explain more about the tasks the Committee performs, to introduce this year’s Committee to the resources available to them, and to answer any questions.
The Colloquium Committee is a valuable opportunity for grad students to gain experience in event-planning, grant-writing, networking, graphic design, and website maintenance, among other skills. Last year, the Colloquium had presenters from across the country, presenting academic, creative, and hybrid work, and our keynote speaker was George Elliott Clarke, Poet Laureate of Toronto.

See you soon,
